Although it is the first annual luncheon since the coronavirus pandemic, this year is actually the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce’s 40th annual luncheon. It promises to be a major event because of the keynote speaker and continued support from committed corporate sponsors.

The hybrid in-person and virtual luncheon will be at noon June 25 at the Fort Worth Hilton, 815 Main St.
Keynote speaker will be Kase L. Lawal, non-executive chairman of CAMAC International Corp., a global enterprise with interests in banking, engineering services and refined products trading for markets in Africa, Europe and North America. He is chairman of the Unity National Bank board of directors, the only nationally licensed and federally insured African American-owned bank in Texas and Georgia.

Lawal’s keynote is titled “Banking Relationships in Times Like These.”
This year’s luncheon will be mostly virtually, with a limited in-person session. Register online.
