With the addition of this land donation, Victory Forest Park will total approximately 15.2 acres. The additional acreage will provide connectivity to Jennings-May-St. Louis Park, located to the north of Victory Forest.

“XTO’s generous donation does not just connect two parks; it connects our community to outdoor spaces and city amenities,” said District 9 Councilmember Elizabeth Beck. “Providing additional greenspace enhances the community and the quality of life for residents and ensures that Fort Worth is a great place to live, work and play.”

Although the land was donated to the city at no cost, the estimated value of the property is $45,084.00, according to a Tarrant Appraisal District valuation.

Park & Recreation Department maintenance for the additional parkland is expected to total about $6,700 yearly.
