City Of Fort Worth: Loop 820, 121 Closed And Detoured For Bridge Demolition This Weekend

I-820 and State Highway 121 will be closed at State Highway 10 from 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, to 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, for State Highway 10 bridge demolition.

Drivers on I-820 and State Highway 121 southbound will exit to State Highway 10, turn west to Handley-Ederville Road, then turn south to State Highway 121 to enter State Highway 121, or I-820 traffic continues south to Trinity Boulevard, then turns east to return to I-820.

Drivers on I-820 northbound will exit State Highway 10, cross State Highway 10 and re-enter I-820.

Drivers on State Highway 121 northbound will exit Handley-Ederville Road, continue on the northbound frontage road, crossing State Highway 10, and re-enter I-820.

Also, State Hgihway 10 eastbound will be closed as it crosses I-820, but will maintain local access between Handley-Ederville Road and Booth Calloway Road. Traffic will be detoured south on Handley-Ederville Road to Trinity Boulevard, then east to Precinct Line Road, and returning north to State Highway. 10.

The bridge demolition will allow crews to build the future State Highway 10 bridge at this location and complete the new southbound frontage road intersection on the west side of the bridge.
