JPS Health Network will be conducting free wellness screenings for children ages 5-18, including sports physicals and school physicals. If your child needs required immunizations before the start of school, JPS will do those too. (Please bring your children’s immunization records to the event.) The Seminary South Library Branch will sign up kids for library cards and give out some fun prizes. Volunteers of America will be doing games and activities, and other special guests will be there too.
Additionally, Fire Station will be giving away backpacks filled with school supplies on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be an obstacle-course bounce house for the kids. And after all that bouncing, the whole family can grab a free hotdog with chips and a drink.
