Council Committees give City Councilmembers the opportunity to give additional attention to key issues, brainstorm solutions to recommend to the City Council, and engage with residents, stakeholders, and experts on each committee’s topics of interest.

“Issues like mobility, neighborhood quality, and supporting entrepreneurship and innovation are vitally important to the future of Fort Worth, and our City Council must spend more time focusing on them,” said Mayor Parker, “We structured these committees so that we can utilize the strengths and expertise of individual Councilmembers and bring forth exceptional new ideas and plans that will be impactful in these all-important areas.”
