The original Rockwood Park Golf Course was designed by golf course architect John Bredemus, with subsequent upgrades by golf course architect Ralph Plummer. Beginning in November 2015, the course underwent a $5.1 million renovation led by the design team of John Colligan and associate Trey Kemp. The renovation included a new routing plan with new greens, tees, fairways, bunkering system, drainage and cart paths. The course was lengthened to play up to 7,053 yards.
This year, a new clubhouse opened at Rockwood Park. The $7.7 million clubhouse contains an upper level featuring a pro shop, grill, dining area and a multipurpose room. The lower level houses convenient cart storage and repairs.
Rockwood Park Golf Course is at 1851 Jacksboro Highway.
