Residents 50 years of age or better should plan on attending the Senior Synergy Expo, a free opportunity to learn more about the services and opportunities for healthy living available in Tarrant County.

The eighth annual expo is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 1 at the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, 3400 Burnet-Tandy Drive. Register online. 

Tarrant County seniors drop in to get simple health assessments and to learn tips about how to successfully meet some of the challenges that affect their quality of life. Guest speakers, entertainers and presenters share their time, energy and knowledge. There are workshops on fitness, finance, home safety and other concerns.

“This expo will allow seniors the opportunity to network and learn more about services offered here in our great county,” said Tarrant County Judge B. Glen Whitley.
