This weekend, crews will demolish the I-820 southbound frontage road bridges over both State Highway 121 and the Trinity Railway Express. This activity requires the full closure of State Highway 121 northbound and southbound from State Highway 10 to Handley-Ederville Road from 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, to 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 15.

Drivers on State Highway 121 southbound will exit to Trinity Boulevard, head west to Handley-Ederville Road, then head north to State Highway 121 to return to the highway. Drivers on State Highway 121 northbound will exit to Handley-Ederville Road, head south to Trinity Boulevard, then head east to I-820 to return to the highway.

The bridge demolition will allow the contractor to continue working on future bridges in this location.

Additional demolitions on the State Highway 10 bridge over I-820/State Highway 121 will be from 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, to 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22.
