City Of Fort Worth: Tarrant County's Burn Ban Has Been Lifted

Last month, unincorporated areas of Tarrant County were determined to be under drought conditions by the Texas Forest Service. These conditions prompted Tarrant County Fire Marshal Randy Renois to request a ban on outdoor burning in an effort to protect lives and property. Tarrant County commissioners agreed.

Now, the ban has been lifted.

It’s still important to be cautious when conducting any outdoor activities that could lead to a fire. Review outdoor cooking and outdoor welding guidelines.
