Mesquite commemorates Patriot Day with solemn ceremony

Mesquite, Texas - The City of Mesquite is set to host a Patriot Day memorial ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 11th.
The event, taking place at Mesquite Freedom Park, will consist of prayers and reflections, honoring those profoundly affected by the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Key aspects of this public ceremony involve participation from the local community. The Mesquite Police and Fire Honor Guards will conduct ceremonial activities, accompanied by musical contributions from the Mesquite Fire Department Pipes and Drum Corps.
