Here are the top stories in Dallas today:
- Dallas police are currently looking for the driver who fled a traffic stop and jumped from a moving stolen vehicle Thursday morning. The driver was heading up Jim Miller Road at high speeds when the front left tire fell off the car. Moments later, the driver bailed out of the moving vehicle and began running through the Asante apartments near the intersection of South Jim Miller Road and Gayglen Drive. Dallas police were seen searching a wooded area near the complex and arrested two people in connection with the incident, though neither is believed to be the driver. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
- Four suspects have been arrested by Dallas Police for the murder of 60-year-old Ali Elbanna, who was killed at the Park Lane Costco on Nov. 16. Police announced the arrest of 17-year-old James Levels, 17-year-old Janiya Miller, and 19-year-old Jacoby Tatum, along with a juvenile suspect whose name has not been released. All three of the older suspects were charged with capital murder, while Miller was also charged with two counts of aggravated robbery. Bond was set at $500,000. (CBS Dallas / Fort Worth)
- Considering a change of scenery? A new report finds that Dallas renters looking for a new home are frequently relocating to Houston. (CultureMap Dallas)
- Multiple events are scheduled across North Texas to distribute food, including Thanksgiving food and turkeys, to families and individuals beginning today, Nov. 19. Traffic on local roads may be impacted throughout the day as deliveries and distribution of meals are coordinated. (WFAA.com)
