Dallas: CDC Extends Eviction Moratorium
The CDC has extended the eviction moratorium till June 30, 2021.
The City of Dallas Office of Equity and Inclusion is ensuring residents are aware of important updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The CDC has extended the eviction moratorium till June 30, 2021. This will allow tenants to submit a declaration form to pause evictions if they have been negatively impacted by the COVID pandemic. The extended eviction moratorium allows tenants to remain housed as the effects of the pandemic continue to negatively impact communities in need. This also assists in ensure folks do not lose housing in the midst of the ongoing pandemic, therefore lowering the possibility of infection.
