DALLAS, TX — A sunny weekend is in the forecast for the first time in a while, and Dallasites who want to enjoy the warmer weather in a social way have plenty of options. Here are five ways you can get out and enjoy the sunshine while resting up for the week ahead.

North Texas Irish Festival

Tens of thousands are expected to turn out this weekend to the North Texas Irish Festival at Fair Park. Join in on the fun and meet some new people during the three day festival.

Dallas Home and Garden Show

March 2-4 for the 39th Annual Dallas – Texas Home & Garden Show

Beer and Chips Art Festival

Dig into beer and original art this Saturday at Noble Rey Brewing Company. Activities include more than 30 emerging artists a live podcast recording, live music, art and free chips. This event is kid-friendly.

Oak Cliff Film Festival's Movie Awards Watch Party

This free party, provided by the Oak Cliff Film Festival, offers a look at Hollywood's biggest from right here in Oak Cliff. Attendance is free, and no dress code is required.

Car Show, Craft Beer and Axe Throwing

Come out to The Flying Axe Factory and Martin House brewery for our first ever car show to see cars, throw some axes and drink craft beer all at the same time. Martin House Brewery will be open from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and as always, Martin House glasses are $10 and come with 3 free beers. There will also be Axe Throwing at The Flying Axe Factory, more than 20 car show award categories, a live DJ and food trucks.
