Dallas Park and Recreation Brings Back Teen All-Access Pass

This is the program's sixth year.

The Dallas Park and Recreation Department is bringing back its Teen All-Access Pass for the sixth year.

The pass gives teen participants and up to three guests complimentary admission to participating venues across Dallas in July.

The city issued a press release about the program on Thursday. According to the press release, the department will distribute 25,000 of the passes beginning on June 29.

The passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at City of Dallas recreation centers. The program is open to Dallas residents ages 13-17.

According to the release, the program is made possible through partnerships with local cultural, recreational, and entertainment organizations and businesses that enrich leisure experiences for Dallas youth with complimentary admission to venue and activities.

New to the program this year are Dave & Buster's, Dallas Love Field, and the State Fair of Texas. They join an existing roster of organizations and venues that include:

  • Bahama Beach
  • City of Dallas Arts and Culture
  • Dallas Arboretum
  • Dallas Golf
  • Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum
  • Dallas Public Library
  • Dallas Zoo
  • Frontiers Of Flight
  • Reunion Tower
  • Shakespeare of Dallas
  • Southern Skates Roller Rink
  • Texas Discover Garden
  • The Sixth Floor Museum At Dealey Plaza
  • Trinity River Audubon

The program supports the Mayor's Summer of Safety initiatives that are aimed at keeping teens engaged, active, and safe during the summer while also highlighting that July is Park and Recreation Month.

The national celebration recognizes the importance of parks, public recreation, and community activities such as the pass program.
