Dallas Ranked Among America's Best Sports Cities

DALLAS, TX -- Dallas was recently ranked as the 10th best sports city in America and third best for football, according to a new analysis from Wallethub. The organization compared 419 cities across more than 50 metrics related to the five largest sports in the U.S.: football, basketball, baseball, hockey, and soccer, Wallethub wrote.

Wallethub used data from the U.S. Census Bureau, ESPN, Forbes, and numerous other sports-specific websites to create its ranking. The top sports city in America was Boston, which ranked in the top five for football (home to the New England Patriots), basketball (Boston Celtics), and baseball (the 2018 World Series Champions, Boston Red Sox).
