Here are the top three stories today in Dallas:
- The Dallas World Aquarium offers residents a unique rainforest perspective in downtown Dallas. The three-story facility in the West End Historic District includes a variety of animals that reside in a rainforest environment. The aquarium has animals that live in tropical, temperate, and dry rainforest types. Click for more information on the facility. (The Killeen Daily Herald)
- The City of Dallas is working to develop the land around 6 Dallas Area Rapid Transit stations. Five of the stations are located south of Interstate 30. The 6th station is located in northwest Dallas. The area around the stations has been underutilized and the city is working to fix that. City leaders are currently marketing the locations to local developers. (Bisnow)
- According to a new study, Dallas is the 7th best city to purchase a fixer-upper home. According to the study conducted by StorageCafe, 9 percent of the city's homes are designated as fixer-uppers.
