DTLR Donates $5,000 in Gift Cards for 200 Dallas Families
DTLR donated the gift cards and teamed up with For Oak Cliff to provide Thanksgiving meals for community members in need
On Nov. 17, DTLR, one of the country's most successful lifestyle retailers with over 240 stores in 19 states, partnered with For Oak Cliff to give away $5,000 in gift cards for 200 Dallas families in need to purchase turkeys for Thanksgiving. All gift cards were donated by DTLR as part of the retailer’s ongoing “Dare to Thrive” health initiative to provide families in need with nutritious food. During the gift card giveaway, which was part of For Oak Cliff’s Heart of Harvest gift card and food box giveaway, community members also received donations of other food items in preparation for the Thanksgiving holiday. The giveaway took place at the Glendale Shopping Center in Dallas.
DTLR takes pride in its role in fashion, music and culture, and gives back to the communities it serves through several other programs, including toy drives and partnerships with athletes and recording artists to support local schools and communities.
