Flooding, Severe Storms Possible In North Texas Tuesday
Residents in North Texas could see strong winds, heavy rain and even large hail, the National Weather Service Warns.

Several areas in and around Dallas are in the path of strong thunderstorms moving through the area Tuesday. Some of the storms could be severe, but tornado threats remain isolated.
The area most affected by the storms falls southeast of the line formed by Goldthwaite, Fort Worth and Bonham. This storm system brings threats of large hail, damaging winds and even a possible isolated tornado.
A flood watch also remains in effect until Wednesday afternoon. Rainfall totals of two to four inches are possible, but totals could reach six inches in some areas. The region most affected by flooding is southeast of the line formed by Sherman, Fort Worth and Waco.

Residents in these areas should also be cautious of cloud-to-ground lightening and flooding on roadways.
Storms will continue into Monday, and the threat of rain will shift east of the I-35 corridor by Wednesday afternoon.

As of writing, DFW International Airport is experiencing weather-related delays and holds. The FAA warning states some arriving flights are delayed an average of one hour and four minutes. Departures are also delays of one more than one hour.
Arrivals at the airport are delayed about 15 minutes on average, the FAA states.
