Dallas Teacher Arrested For Inappropriate Relationship In Garland

GARLAND, TX — A Dallas ISD teacher was arrested Thursday and charged with Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student, Garland police announced in a statement

Police said the teacher, 49-year-old Robert Lee Edgin, of Dallas, was involved in a relationship with a 17-year-old student at Garland ISD.

Edgin, who formerly taught at W. T. White High School, was arrested and placed in Garland Detention Center, but detectives believe there could be other victims.

Police said additional charges could be filed against Edgin. He is held on $10,000 bail.
