Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:

  1. Country music star Garth Brooks is performing in Dallas on Jul. 30 at AT&T Stadium. Brooks' performance is part of his Garth Brooks Stadium Tour that is traveling the country this year. Tickets are currently available at Ticketmaster with an eight-ticket limit per customer. (KWTX)
  2. The Dallas-Fort Worth area has added 275,800 jobs within the last year. That number is almost three times larger than the DFW area experiences in a typical year of job growth. The only two areas, according to recent government data, that had more job growth this last year were New York and Los Angles. However, please note those areas have millions more residents to help them achieve that number. (Denton Record Chronicle)
  3. Pandemic art projects have been displayed at the Anita Martinez Rec Center in West Dallas. The art exhibit includes various artistic mediums such as crochet, lace, quilts, embroidery, and even beer bottle tops. Exhibit participants sought to display how they spent their time during the pandemic. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
