- The Dallas City Council has voted to give Goldman Sachs more than $18 million in economic incentives to bring 5,000 jobs to Dallas. Goldman Sachs will reportedly build an 800,000-square-foot office tower between Victory Park and Uptown. Many supporters of the decision hope that Goldman Sachs will be the first in a long line of New York City-based financial firms to move to Dallas. (Candy's-Dirt)

Jeffrey Miller, 28, was fatally shot in his vehicle during the incident on Saturday evening. Anyone with information related to the shooting is asked to contact the department immediately.
