Highland Springs Residents Say Thank You for a Job Well Done

Raise more than $235,000 for Staff Appreciation Fund

Dallas, Texas--Whether it’s responding to a call promptly or serving a meal in one of the campus restaurants, the hourly employees of Highland Springs retirement community are being thanked for a job well done.

Their service and dedication are recognized through the Erickson Living community’s Staff Appreciation Fund. A total of $235,032 was raised from resident contributions.

318 eligible hourly employees received distributions from the fund, less taxes, at scheduled times throughout the community on December 4.

“Throughout the year, residents of Highland Springs donate to the Staff Appreciation Fund in recognition of the wonderful work our employees do. It’s just one way to thank them for another remarkable year of helping people live better lives,” said Matt Neville, Executive Director.

This year, Highland Springs was named as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas 2018 by Best Companies Group and its partners, the Texas Association of Business and Texas Society for Human Resource Management, and Best Retirement Community by the readers of the Plano Star Courier.
