Here are the top three stories today in Dallas:
- Crews closed Interstate 30 in East Dallas around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday after an 18-wheeler crashed into a power pole, sending utility lines down across the freeway at the St. Francis Avenue exit, near the split with U.S. 80. As of 3:00 p.m., all lanes of I-30 reopened but the eastbound service road remains closed. It's not clear if there were injuries. (NBCDFW)
- The 14th edition of the Dallas Art Fair is back in full swing with 85 galleries this Apr. 21–24. This year is also the sixth anniversary of the Dallas Art Fair Foundation Acquisition Program, whose collecting budget has reached a new high of $150,000 this year. The fair kicks off Dallas Arts Month, an annual celebration of the city's cultural scene. (ArtNewsNet)
- Anthony Barnes, 25, was arrested after allegedly robbing more than 10 fast-food restaurants in Dallas in the span of a month. He was taken into custody and faces a charge of aggravated robbery. Police say Barnes displayed a gun and fled from the scene in a gray Kia Soul in each instance. (iHeart.com)
