Information Sought In Deadly South Dallas Shooting Of Man, 57

A description of the shooter was not immediately available.

DALLAS, TX — A 57-year-old man was shot dead Sunday night in south Oak Cliff, and police are looking for his shooter.

Officers responded to the shooting call around 10:00 p.m. in the 1300 block of Adelaide Drive. When they arrived, police found the victim, Charles Thompson, dead from a gunshot wound, Dallas police said in a statement.

Police are looking for information about the shooter and ask anyone with knowledge of the incident to call detectives.
