Man Charged With Capital Murder Following Two Shooting Deaths
Donald Ray Taylor Jr. was charged with capital murder after he allegedly shot and killed two people Sept. 17.
DALLAS, TX – A Balch Springs man has been arrested and charged with capital murder in the shooting deaths of a man and woman Sept. 17 in Dallas. Donald Ray Taylor Jr. was charged with capital murder after he allegedly shot and killed Jessica Henderson and Corey Sanders at 9512 CF Hawn Freeway, according to the warrant released by the Dallas Police Department.
During an altercation, Taylor allegedly took out a gun and began shooting at Henderson and Sanders, according to the warrant. Henderson and Sanders were shot multiple times, as was bystander William Gutowski, who was hit in the right knee. Henderson died at the scene. Sanders died at Baylor Hospital, the warrant said.
Taylor is being held in Dallas County Jail and bond is set at $500,000, according to jail records.
