Here are the top three stories today in Dallas:

  1. A 27-year-old man was found fatally shot under an overpass in Stemmons Corridor. Police responded to reports of multiple gunshot wounds and found a man under a bridge in the 10100 block of North Stemmons Freeway. He was pronounced dead by first responders and there is currently no further information about the shooting. (The Dallas Morning News)
  2. "Hadestown," the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards is making its way to Dallas. The winner of Best New Musical will open at Winspear Opera House on Jan. 18. The tour will run through Jan. 30. (Focusdailynews)
  3. The Pocket Sandwich Theatre, a beloved Dallas theater, will be closing after 40 years in the city. Officials from the theater said that negotiations fell through on its lease and they need to vacate by Monday. The theater will soon move and occupy two additional spaces in Carrollton.
