- Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel is coming to the Dallas Irving Mall. The exhibition showcasing the world renowned artwork will use state-of-the-art technology to present the paintings in high definition life size proportions. Each painting will include written and audio information that viewers can rent for a heightened experience. Tickets are available now. (CW33 NewsFix)
- The Majestic Theatre will showcase Ragtime this month. The performance will be part of Lyric Stage's celebration of Black History Month. Performances will be from Feb. 17 to 20 and will cost $38 for a ticket. The shows will include the character Harry Houdini who once performed at the Majestic Theatre. (CW33 NewsFix)
- An officer with the Dallas Police Department has been indicted on charges of organizing a pyramid scheme. The scheme raised $48,000 across 159 recruits and involved the bestowing of "blessings" onto participants. About a dozen recruits were from the South Central Patrol Division in Oak Cliff; they have been put on administrative leave following a thorough investigation into the scheme. (FOX 4 Dallas)
