Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:

  1. The family of a man who fatally fell from the top of a Dallas bar is taking legal action to get answers about what happened. Christopher Hill fell from the 77 Degrees rooftop bar in early March. A legal filing by the family claims that the bar was overcrowded and understaffed with a railing that was too low. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is also performing an investigation into the incident. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
  2. The Dallas City Council is considering closing doors to adult businesses in the region at 2:00 a.m. The new regulation is an attempt to curb the recent increase in violent crimes. According to officials with the Dallas Police Department, adult businesses seem to be locations of late-night violent crimes. (WFAA.com)
  3. A Dallas natural gas pipeline was ruptured Wednesday morning after a vehicle collided with it. The incident lead to a major fire, evacuations, road closures, and one person being treated at a local hospital with major injuries. An investigation is being conducted into the incident.
