Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:
- A Sunday morning shooting in Old East Dallas has left two women with gunshot wounds. The incident occurred in the 3600 block of Greenville Avenue around 1:00 a.m. outside of a bar. According to department investigators, the shooting was the result of a disturbance between two women. The shooter has not been apprehended and the victims' names have not been released. (The Dallas Morning News)
- Dallas residents participated in gun violence awareness marches this last weekend. The marches went through six neighborhoods ultimately ending at Dallas City Hall with a rally. Many of the individuals that participated in the marches have lost loved ones to gun violence. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
- Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity held a free homeownership fair on Saturday. The event was meant to provide residents with home buying resources and counseling.
