One dead, three injured in Wednesday night shooting in Fort Worth
Deadly shooting in Fort Worth's Handley Oaks Apartments fatal for one person, while three others were injured. No arrests made so far.

Fort Worth, Texas - Following a harrowing incident of late-night gunfire on Wednesday, Fort Worth's Chief of Police, Neil Noakes, has emphatically appealed to any possible witnesses to step forward and aid authorities in their active search for the assailant.
This shocking episode, leading to the tragic loss of a life and injury to several individuals, has plunged the east side of the city into turmoil and initiated a rigorous pursuit of the criminal.
The Eastern Division unit reports that officers were deployed to the Handley Oaks Apartments close to 11:30 p.m. on June 21. Emergency services from MedStar and the Fort Worth Fire Department were also on the scene.

Upon reaching the scene, officers discovered several victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
The authorities that arrived among the first at the scene said that a total of four individuals had been shot. One victim was sadly declared dead on-site, while two are reportedly in a critical state. The fourth victim received medical attention at the location. This information was later confirmed by the police department in an official announcement to the public.

As of now, no arrests have been made. Police Chief Neil Noakes stated that the investigation into the case continues to be in progress.
This incident marks the third reported shooting in the eastern Fort Worth area this week, resulting in the second fatality due to sustained injuries. At this time, there is no information regarding potential links between these shootings.
