Here are the top three stories today in Dallas:

  1. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has uncovered a plot to assassinate George W. Bush in Dallas. The assignation is reportedly linked to ISIS. The plot was uncovered through a WhatsApp tap after it was uncovered that the conspirators were using the program for communications. (D Magazine)
  2. Dallas places dead last in a list of the most bike-friendly cities in the United States. The list was created by Anytime Estimate using data gathered through the U.S. Census Bureau, the U.S. Department of Transportation, and Google trends. According to the study, the city has 80 percent fewer bike commuters than the average American city. (CultureMap Dallas)
  3. The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office is working to identify a pedestrian that was killed on Stemmons Freeway. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning after a vehicle struck the man while he was running across the freeway.
