Police Investigating String Of Uptown Assaults On Women
Each of the assaults took place on a Sunday morning in Uptown Dallas. It's not known if how many suspects are responsible for the assaults.

DALLAS, TX — Over the last 14 months, four women have been assaulted while walking alone in Uptown Dallas. Police can't confirm the assaults were perpetrated by the same man, but the incidents share similar characteristics.
Each of the assaults happened between 12:45 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on a Sunday. Two of them women said their attacker was wearing a white long-sleeved or button-down shirt and dark or dress pants. In each instance, the suspect fled before the woman attacked could see their appearance. Each woman was grabbed from behind.
The first incident happened on October 2, 2016, at 12:45 a.m. when a 27-year-old female was walking alone in the 3200 block of Fairmount. When she arrived at the entrance to the apartment complex, she was grabbed and assaulted by an unknown male. She described the suspect as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-6, heavy set, with slicked-back black hair and no facial hair. He was wearing a white button-down shirt and gray dress pants.

Two months later, on December 4, 2016, at about 1:30 a.m., a 23-year-old female was walking alone in the 3000 block of Bookhout Street when she was grabbed from behind. She screamed for help, and the suspect fled on foot. He was described as a Hispanic male, 5-foot-5, 160 pounds, with short brown hair. He was wearing a long sleeve white shirt and dark colored pants.
On July 23, 2017, at about 2:30 a.m., a 24-year-old female was walking alone in the 2800 block of Bookhout Street toward the entrance of her apartment complex when the suspect grabbed her from behind and assaulted her. The female kicked him off of her. The female could not provide a description of the suspect.

Lastly, on December 3, 2017, at about 2:30 a.m., a 23-year-old female was walking alone in the 2800 block of Cole Avenue toward her apartment complex. As she entered a gate, she was pushed into a stairwell and assaulted. She described her attacker as a possibly Hispanic male, 5-foot-10, with dark hair. No further description was provided.
Police cannot confirm at this time that the assaults were committed by the same suspect, but people should avoid walking alone in this area at night.
