  1. Police are seeking the public's help to find the suspects who fired dozens of shots at a Dallas home with assault rifles earlier this month. On the evening of Dec. 3, in the 7100 block of Dillon Drive, a woman was shot but survived after her home was blasted by 40 rounds from three assault rifles. The shooters and their silver sedan were in were caught on tape as the victim was asleep in her home. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Perez at (214) 671-4735. (FOX 4 Dallas)
  2. Texas Police are conducting a statewide search for a 3-year-old girl who was last seen at an apartment complex playground in San Antonio on Monday. Authorities don't yet know whether Lina Sardar Khil wandered away from the playground or if she was taken by someone, according to San Antonio Police Chief William McManus. An Amber Alert has been issued. (Dallas Patch)
  3. The City of Dallas hopes its new deflection program will help address the growing issue of homeless panhandling in the city. Through the program, city marshals and crisis intervention case workers, instead of police officers, will take over enforcement and be ready to give panhandlers help with housing and even drug treatment rather than arrest.
