  1. The Dallas Fire Department battled an apartment fire near the President George Bush Turnpike for nearly 45 minutes on Monday. Authorities say the blaze at The Grove at Trinity Mills apartment complex was started by an unknown source. It reportedly left one person hurt, 40 residents displaced, and much of the building severely damaged. Investigators are still working to determine how many of the building's 16 units suffered fire damage. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
  2. After a two-year hiatus on in-person celebrations, Dallas Pride has opened registration for its 2022 celebration, to be held on Saturday, June 4. The COVID-19 pandemic made Pride organizers hold the music festival and Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade entirely online in 2020. Festival vendors and participants of the parade can now begin to register their services online starting today, Feb. 15. (Dallas Voice)
  3. Dallas-based Medifriendrx and the Urban Inter-Tribal Center of Texas are working together to create a robot pharmacy. The new robotic pharmacy's goals are to improve medication distribution, cut wait times, and reduce hospital recidivism while providing drug access to isolated communities, according to D Magazine.
