Here are the top stories today in Dallas:
- A search warrant executed in a residential area of the 11500 block of Webb Chapel Road in northwest Dallas yielded big results for Dallas Police. Patrol officers joined officials with the department's Narcotics Section, SWAT team, Gang Unit, and Northwest Crime Response Team found $9,000 in cash, 11 firearms, and drugs. One person was arrested in connection with the discovery. (WFAA.com)
- Four teenagers were injured in a Saturday night shooting in South Dallas. The shooting was reported in the 3000 block of South Boulevard near Meadow Street. Responding officers found three of the young victims in a vehicle on the scene, while a fourth person was later dropped off at a hospital with a gunshot wound. All four are expected to recover. - More than 200 Southwest Airlines flights were canceled or delayed at Love Field Airport on Sunday, just one day after the airline canceled 70 flights and delayed 138. Southwest blamed air traffic control issues and bad weather in Florida for the disrupted flights this weekend. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
- A stunt gone wrong caused a man to fall to his death from the 14th-floor balcony of the high-rise M-Line Tower Apartments near McKinney Avenue early Sunday morning. (FOX 4 Dallas)
- After a pandemic haitus, the Dallas Chamber Symphony will return to Moody Performance Hall for its 2021-2022 season, beginning with an Oct. 19 concert featuring works by Schumann, Mendelssohn, and Brahms. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
