Slammed Skateboard Led To Fear Of Active Shooter At Dallas' NorthPark Center; 1 Person In Custody

People ran for the exits at NorthPark Center around 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 31 after reports of an active shooter situation.

Police sources explained to CBS 11’s J.D. Miles, there was a disturbance in the food court and when officers confronted the people involved, one of them threw down a skateboard.

It made a loud noise and someone shouted shots fired which led to the panic.
