Storms Possible Across Metroplex Tuesday: Weather Watch

The National Weather Service warns some afternoon storms could produce damaging winds and hail.

DALLAS, TX — Strong storms capable of producing strong winds and small hail will make its way into the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Tuesday afternoon.

The National Weather Service predicts the storms will move encounter a moist, unstable atmosphere as the move gradually south.

The widespread threat of severe storms is unlikely, but brief downpours and frequent lightning should be expected.
