- The Dallas Police Department responded to Pandora's Men's Club after a patron was shot by security guards on Sunday morning. The incident reportedly occurred when the individual was thrown out of the strip club and proceeded to drive his vehicle at the security guards. Arturo Calvillo-Guzman, 22 years old, was taken to a local hospital to receive treatment. The department is currently investigating the incident. (FOX 4 News Dallas-Fort Worth)
- The Dallas City Council is considering a budget that would potentially deliver the lowest property tax rate in 40 years. Increased property values have increased Dallas tax revenue. The increased revenue will likely go to funding public safety initiatives such as hiring new officers. (WFAA.com)
