Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:
- The North Texas Auto Show returned to Dallas yesterday after being canceled by COVID-19 the last two years. The event, which runs through Sunday at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, has an indoor test track to try electric vehicles. This auto show is the largest of its kind in the area. - Dallas Area Rapid Transit is allowing Dallas area students to feature their art on buses and trains. The program is part of their newest art contest for all grade levels. This year's theme is "simpler, better, faster, and easier." Entries will be accepted until Apr. 8, 2022. (Star Local Media)
- As the COVID-19 pandemic nears its conclusion, the city of Dallas is testing sewage for infection surges. The sewage samples are sent to a lab in Mississippi to be tested at the expense of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The city has only recently begun participating in the national effort of sewage testing despite its use throughout the pandemic. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
