Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:

  1. A teenager was shot and killed outside a Raising Cane's at South Hampton and West Wheatland roads on Thursday night. The victim was Zuri Andre Goff, 19. Dallas police say two suspects had an altercation in the drive-thru and began shooting into cars, striking Goff multiple times. Contact homicide detective Kimberly Mayfield at (214) 671-3646 if you have any information related to the shooting. (WFAA.com)
  2. Dallas' largest art installation was unveiled earlier this week in the Arts District. The art is located at Fountain Place, one of Dallas' most recognizable skyscrapers. The painting stands at a whopping eight stories tall. Artist Steve Penley had created a detailed collage of treasured Dallas icons like Big Tex, Reunion Tower, and American Airlines. "It's an honor to share my cowboy dreams with the people of Dallas and to have my work become a part of this amazing building," said Penley. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
  3. There's been an update on the case of the 3-year-old boy who was shot and killed in a car on Monday morning. The child's mother, Lacravivonne Washington, is still behind bars on gun-related charges. According to investigators, the boy's father, Jalexus Washington, 27, was seen wearing a weapon without a holster and was also arrested on outstanding warrants and unlawful carrying of a weapon. While the boy's mother said that her child was killed due to a road rage incident, investigators have not verified this fact. However, they say that evidence suggests the child's parents did not secure their own guns. (CBS Dallas)
