Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:

  1. The Texas Rangers are hosting their annual blood drive at Globe Life Field on Jul. 2. The blood drive is through Carter BloodCare and runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants will receive a voucher for two tickets on the upper level of the stadium in exchange for donating blood. (NBC DFW 5)
  2. The Dallas housing market ranks at the top of the list for the largest increase in the close-to-list price ratio in the United States. The metric is the measurement of the average value of the sales price divided by the list price. The Dallas housing market rose by 6.4 percent in the metric when compared to a year ago. (WFAA.com)
  3. Two downtown Dallas accidents caused significant delays for commuters on Monday morning. The northbound lanes of I-45 were temporarily stalled due to an accident that occurred near Botham Jean Boulevard and one that occurred near Pennsylvania Avenue.
