Here are the top stories in Dallas today:

  1. Thousands of people packed downtown Dallas on Saturday morning to watch the annual holiday parade, which returned after a pandemic hiatus last year. (CBS Dallas / Fort Worth)
  2. Three people died in two unrelated Dallas accidents in the early hours of Sunday morning. The first accident happened around midnight at the intersection of Oak Lawn and Maple Avenue, when a woman who was not in the crosswalk attempted to cross the street and was fatally hit by a Volkswagen. The second incident was a five-vehicle accident on southbound North Central Expressway at Haskell Avenue that occurred just after 2 a.m. The driver and passenger of one car died on the scene, another person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
  3. Diminishing financial reserves, along with a request for a proposal of new management by the city of Dallas, might mean radio station WRR 101.1 FM, which has played classical music for 57 years, could change its music format. (Fort Worth Star-Telegram)
