Dallas County, Texas - In a tragic event early Saturday morning, a collision on the Dallas North Tollway resulted in the death of two individuals, as confirmed by official reports.

The accident took place just after 4:30 a.m. Connor Steyer, a 27-year-old from Richardson, was driving his 2019 Mazda CX5 northward in the southbound lanes near Wycliff Avenue. At the same time, Jorrick Battle, 55, of Houston, was traveling south in a 2017 Ford F150 on the correct side of the highway.

The two vehicles collided head-on. According to the incident report, the impact between Steyer's Mazda and Battle's Ford F150 was severe. Both Steyer and Battle were declared dead at the location by the Dallas County Medical Examiner.

The report further notes that Steyer was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The accident is currently under thorough investigation, as authorities continue to gather details to better understand the circumstances and potential liabilities associated with this unfortunate incident.
