  1. This week the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) will celebrate 25 years of providing commuter rail service across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. As part of the celebration, the TRE is offering riders the opportunity to win 25 days of free rides. Participants who share their fondest TRE memories have a chance to win 25 regional day passes.   2. Amid rising demand, The City of Fort Worth is making sure that access to COVID-19 testing remains available. In addition to the current testing site at the TEXRail North Side Station, 3001 Decatur Ave., new testing sites will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the FWISD Scarborough-Handley Fieldhouse and the Como Community Center.   3. The Dallas Independent School District is continuing to make sure its students have meals over the holidays. Meals were distributed Monday at 22 different high schools for all district students who needed a week's worth of food during the winter break. (FOX 4 Dallas)
