Here are the top three stories today in Dallas:

  1. Dallas-based investor Crow Holdings has announced the closing of a new fund focused on purchasing more than $1.5 billion worth of industrial properties. The fund will purchase properties from around the country. Crow Holdings is a major developer in North Texas. (The Dallas Morning News)
  2. Dallas' Manor House fire caused black smoke to billow from the top floor of the 25-story apartment building. According to Dallas Fire and Rescue, the origin of the blaze is a couch that caught on fire in a community room. Thankfully, nobody was injured during the blaze and none of the apartments were damaged. (Newstalk1290)
  3. A Los Angeles-based virtual gaming cafe is coming to Dallas. Two Bit Circus fuses arcade games, virtual reality, and bar snacks together to form a micro-amusement park. The new location will be located at 8030 Park Lane #200 with a grand opening planned for this fall. (CultureMap Dallas)
