The proposed project would reconstruct and widen FM 543 in stages based on traffic volumes and available funding. Initial construction would consist of four travel lanes (two in each direction) with a grass median and would be widened to the inside once warranted by traffic.

The in-person session will be held in an open house format. Attendees can view the same presentation delivered in the online public meeting (which will be playing on a screen), review hard copies of project materials, ask questions of TxDOT staff or consultants, and leave written comments.
