Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:
- Six Dallas area parks will gain 50 new trees this spring. The Parks include Willoughby Park, Seaton Park, College Park, Lawnview Park, Campbell Green Park, and Bishop Flores Park. The gifted trees are part of the Branching Out program meant to reforest parts of Dallas. (CultureMap Dallas)
- Ukrainian immigrants living in North Texas protested the Russian invasion of Ukraine on Thursday. The protestors rallied on a frozen overpass demanding that the United States do more to stop the invasion. Protestors are worried they will be cut off from their families that remained in the European country. (21 CBS DFW)
- Arthur Gregg, the coordinator with the University of Texas at Dallas multicultural services, is retiring. Gregg has devoted 23 years of his life to helping countless students thrive at the university while making the place a diverse, equitable, and inclusive campus.
