Here are the top 3 stories today in Dallas:

  1. The City of Dallas has set aside $4 million for alley trail conversion projects. The money is being provided through the federal American Rescue Plan Act. The city currently has 1,300 overgrown alleys in desperate need of maintenance. Property owners would have to perform regular maintenance on the new paved alley trails. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
  2. A new ranking by Apartment List places Dallas among the best U.S. cities for Black professionals. The list was compiled using data in the categories of business environment, community, economic opportunities, and housing availability. Despite its lower-than-average marks in housing opportunities, Dallas came in at No. 5 on the list. (CultureMap Dallas)
  3. Mark Calaway, better known as "The Undertaker," will be inducted into the Dallas WWE Hall of Fame on Apr. 1. Calaway is a Texas native who began his wrestling career in 1987 and rose to fame with WrestleMania. The special WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will be held at the American Airlines Center as a precursor to the kick-off of WrestleMania. (Dallas Observer)
