  1. Public health experts are urging the city of Dallas to expand its wastewater testing program. According to public health experts, testing wastewater is a critical piece of data to understand community health needs. Wastewater testing is vital to track the spread of COVID-19 through the community. Dallas County COVID-19 infections continue to rise. (The Dallas Morning News)
  2. Dallas home showings declined at a faster rate in June when compared to the rest of the county. According to the Business Journal, home showings dropped about 30 percent in June. This rate is a clear indicator that the city's housing market is cooling off. The nation's average home showing decline rate is currently 18.7 percent. (WFAA.com)
  3. Dallas County Health and Human Services held a virtual town hall on Monday to address the spread of Monkeypox in the community. Anyone can be impacted by Monkeypox, but the majority of confirmed cases are present in the LGBTQ+ community.
