Watching Severe Weather: Evening Thunderstorms Near Dallas

DALLAS, TX — Friday evening is expected to bring with it a chance of numerous thunderstorms, some of which could be severe.

BREAKING:

• Tornado Warning Issued For McKinney, Collin County
• Severe Storm Warning Issued For Dallas And Eastern Areas

The National Weather Service predicts a strong cold front that will push through the area starting Friday afternoon will bring a chance of storms lasting into the overnight hours.

The primary hazards, the Weather Service warns, will be strong winds and hail, but a possible tornado or two is possible east of the metroplex and into East Texas.
